Go everywhere

Youth With A Mission is an international organisation, so we are part of a big family. Our part in seeing the Great Commission of Jesus fulfilled keeps us looking “out” to the situations and possibilities that arise where we can be the hands and feet of Jesus and tell those we meet about a God who loves us and knows us.

The Great Commission is for all of us, everywhere. At Holmsted Manor we are exploring connections this place has with missionaries in far flung places as well as looking at how we could contribute to the life of the communities in the areas we know closer to home.

Men's Outreach

A group of eight men went to South Africa to help build a house for a family in desperate need of one. Partnering with Ten Thousand Homes, the team was made up of some who are full time in YWAM, some local friends and others. At the end of a week of physically hard work, a single mum of five children had a roof over her head and a door she could lock at night. She was so appreciative of the work the team did to make her house a reality. The short trip was rounded off by a day’s safari, then it was back home.

Plans for a return trip in May 2017 are being hatched, contact Steve Bishop if you want to be involved sbishop@holmsted.org.uk for more details.

Mission Adventures

Mission Adventures is a two week cross cultural missions trip for young people; both youth groups and individuals. We take care of all the administration and have a YWAM missionary accompany you to take care of the logistics, so that you don’t have to! Our location options are mainly focused in Eastern Europe, each with ministries involving sharing the gospel and meeting practical needs. You will be prepared to go with a four day training programme prior to departure, including team building, worship & intercession, cultural awareness and Bible study, learning what it is to be a missionary both overseas and at home.

This isn’t just a summer camp, this is missionary training!
